WHAT DO I DO IN WELLBEING?
Hopefully you really love food because it’s time for you to bring out your inner masterchef (even if your signature dish is instant noodles). Sometimes our Cast and other teams have nights where there isn’t enough time to run around and get food. That’s where Wellbeing comes in with a freshly-cooked meal for everyone to enjoy. You’ll be having heaps of fun cooking with your fellow Wellbeing members and learning how to make a wide variety of meals. You also get to eat the food you cook of course!
WHAT SKILLS CAN I LEARN IN WELLBEING?
- Designing a catering menu for all dietary requirements
- Cooking and serving in catering quantities
- Time management and teamwork in the kitchen
- Budgeting for meals
- Working both independently and with others
WHAT’S THE TIME COMMITMENT LIKE?
As many nights as you can! Whether you’re only able to cook for a little while or just want to help with serving, we need whatever help you can give to help to fill empty stomachs (including your own)! There will be a schedule for cooking sessions, which will take place in Old Tote (opposite the Whitehouse), so you can just roster yourself on whenever you’re free!
